A four-story Cobble Hill mansion asking nearly $8 million was the priciest home to hit the market in Brooklyn in March, according to listings service Point2 Homes.
The 5,000-square-foot Beaux Arts-style property at 114 Amity Street features four bedrooms, two fireplaces and a roof garden. Phyllis Norton Towers of Brown Harris Stevens has the listing.
The second and third priciest homes on the Brooklyn list are both in Brooklyn Heights. One is a five-story, 5,000-square-foot townhouse at 154 Hicks Street asking $6.25 million, listed with Alexander Maroni of Douglas Elliman. The other is a four-story townhouse at 28 Garden Place asking $6.2 million, listed with the Corcoran Group’s Yolanda Johnson Vogelzang and Vanessa Van Der Linde-Brown.

In the fourth spot, a carriage house at 24 Verandah Place in Cobble Hill hit the market for just shy of $6 million. The 24-foot-wide, three-bedroom home was fully renovated in 2011. Jill Seligson Braver of Brown Harris Stevens has the listing.
A detached three-story Dyker Heights house at 1051 81st Street hit the market for $4.8 million. Dominick Sarta of Sarta Realty LLC has the listing.
QUEENS
Over in Queens, condominium units were more prevalent than townhouses at the top of the price charts. A three-bedroom condo at 46-30 Center Boulevard in Long Island City hit the market for $5.4 million, making it the borough’s priciest new listing in March, according to Point2 Homes data.
The 2,108-square-foot pad is on the 16th floor, just a floor below the penthouse, and is listed with Nest Seekers International’s Silvette Julian.
55 Exeter Street in Forest Hills
Next, a five-bedroom Tudor-style house at 55 Exeter Street in Forest Hills is asking $3.9 million, and is listed with Robert Hof of Sotheby’s International Realty.
The third and fourth priciest Queens listings were both at a 22-story condo building at 133-38 Sanford Avenue in Flushing – a two-bedroom pad asking $3.8 million and a three-bedroom penthouse asking $3.7 million. Elliman’s Julie Wong is listing the former, and the Wing Fung Home Realty Group’s Fanny Wen Fa Wang is listing the latter.
72-20 Harrow Street in Forest Hills asking $3.3 million
Finally, a four-bedroom house at 72-20 Harrow Street in Forest Hills is on the market for $3.3 million. The 5,100-square-foot property, built in 2006, was also listed by Hof at Sotheby’s.
