UPDATED 5:45 p.m., June 3: Thousands of creative employees who will be working at the brand new tech hub Dumbo Heights will have plenty of lunch options.
Multiple dining establishments are planning a move to the new commercial complex in Dumbo, according to the New York Daily News. Dig Inn and Untamed Sandwiches are among the eateries that will open up shop at the high-tech, six-building office complex, according to the newspaper. Mexican eatery Dos Toros was reportedly in talks with the landlord as well, but decided against opening up at the new complex.
Dos Toros inked a lease at 64 Court Street instead.
WeWork, Etsy and Alexis Bittar are among the tenants at the complex, which is being co-developed by LIVWRK Holdings, according to the newspaper.
“This is really going to change peoples’ perceptions of this whole area,” Zyscovich Architects’ Larry Rosenbloom told the newspaper. “It’s going to turn it into an active, vibrant community.” [NYDN] — Claire Moses
