Cushman and Wakefield’s top dealmakers went through a lot of ink last year, trading millions of square feet of office space and, on the retail side, grabbing headlines with tenants like Nike, Ann Taylor and TD Bank.

The firm recently recognized  Josh Kuriloff, Charles Borrok and Joanne Podell as the company’s top-producing brokers in the tri-state region for 2014.

Between the two of them, Kuriloff and Borrok closed more than 4.6 million square feet of office leasing deals last year.

Kuriloff, a 30-year veteran, worked alongside Cushman power broker Bruce Mosler in representing Brookfield Property Partners in leasing more than 500,000 square feet at 5 Manhattan West and was part of the team that represented Vornado Realty Trust in leasing more than 600,000 square feet at 1290 Sixth Avenue.

Borrok, who was recognized for the third time in his 23-year career with Cushman, represented the LeFrak Organization in its sale of an 820,000-square-foot office tower in Jersey City and leased nearly 500,000 square feet of office space across the Hudson River on behalf of the landlord.

“To stand as a top office broker in this market requires intelligence, tenacity, creativity and first-class people skills,” Ron Lo Russo, president of Cushman & Wakefield’s New York Tri-State Region, said in a statement.  “Josh Kuriloff and Charles Borrok have them all.”

Lo Russo is expected to stay on as head of the regional office after DTZ purchased the brokerage for $2 billion.

On the retail side, 20-year veteran Podell did about 178,000 square feet worth of deals last year, including TD Bank’s expansion and Nike’s flagship store.

“Joanne Podell has received countless accolades thanks to her dedication to both landlord and tenant needs,” Lo Russo said.

Correction: A previous version of this post misstated Josh Kuriloff’s working relationship with Bruce Mosler. The two worked alongside each other in leasing 5 Manhattan West.
