The constantly surprising Michael Shvo was seen scoping out the trio of Upper East Side townhouses being marketed for $120 million by the Safra family, a clan of Brazilian billionaires.
The townhouses, at 12, 14 And 16 East 62nd Street, have reportedly been on the market for over a year, and could be combined to create one megamansion, the New York Post reported. News of the listing broke earlier this month.
It is not clear what Shvo’s plans for the property would be.
The developer agreed to buy the majority of the Crown building for $500 million earlier this year. He is also at work on a residential tower in Soho at 100 Varick Street, and another one at 125 Greenwich Street in the Financial District. [NYP] — Tess Hofmann
