Residential brokerage Bold New York is the exclusive leasing agency for the Moinian Group’s massive Sky rental tower at 605 West 42nd Street.

The 71-story, 1,175-unit Hell’s Kitchen rental development is “the single largest residential rental tower, by unit count, in New York history,” Bold New York cofounder and CEO Jordan Sachs told The Real Deal.

Bold launched leasing for Sky on Monday with a view toward the project’s first move-in date of September 1. Studios start around $2,900 a month, Sachs said, while one-bedroom units start at $3,850 and two-bedrooms start at $5,600.

Sky will feature around 70,000 square feet of amenity space including two outdoor pools, an indoor pool and a 16,500-square-foot fitness center. Joseph Moinian discussed the project in an interview with TRD in May.

Bold just finished leasing the Chetrit Group’s Cassa Hotel and Residences several blocks away at 515 Ninth Avenue, Sachs said.

“People are not so dedicated to being in a certain geographic area in the city anymore,” he said. “We’re seeing people from Brooklyn, people from the Upper East Side [show interest in the property].”
