Last week, 32 contracts were signed for deals at $4 million and above, according to the latest luxury market report by Olshan Realty.
Condos accounted for 21 of the mix, while eight were co-ops and three were townhouses, including the priciest listing to enter contract, a $38.5 million townhouse developed by David Amirian, who purchased the property in May 2012 for $11.2 million. The five-story home, at 16 East 10th Street, broke the record for priciest Greenwich Village townhouse ever.
The second priciest listing to enter contract was a condo in a converted former factory at 443 Greenwich Street, asking $13 million.
