Film director Francis Ford Coppola is taking a break from vineyard life with the purchase of a $2.5 million West Village apartment.
The seventh-floor pad at 32 Morton Street has two bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms. Kevin Gallagher is the seller.
Coppola, 76, is famous for directing classic films such as “The Godfather” and “Apocalypse Now.” He owns a vineyard and winery in Napa Valley and owns a brand of lifestyle products called “Francis Ford Coppola Presents.”
His daughter, Sofia Coppola, is the director of “The Virgin Suicides” and “Marie Antoinette.”
Robert De Niro recently purchased a $2.8 million apartment in the same building for his daughter, Drena.
