A six-bedroom Bay Ridge property known as the “Gingerbread House” was the priciest single-family home to hit the market in July, at $11 million, according to listings service Point2 Homes.
The 5,750-square-foot house, at 8220 Narrows Avenue, was constructed in 1917 for a former shipping magnate. There is a courtyard, fireplace, garage and garden. Douglas Elliman’s Marion Fiore has the listing.
In the No. 2 spot, a seven-bedroom, 10,000-square-foot Colonial home at 2134 Ocean Parkway in Gravesend is asking nearly $9 million, according to a listing by Ilite Realty’s Igor Libo.
Next up were a two-bedroom Carroll Gardens townhouse at 10 3rd Place ($5.5 million) and a three-bedroom penthouse condominium unit at 388 Bridge ($5.1 million) in Downtown Brooklyn in fourth. The listing brokers, respectively, are Anthony Marino and Danny Soldano of Dorsa Group Realty and Vanessa Connelly and Molly Bloom of Halstead Property.
In the fifth Brooklyn spot was a three-story, four-bedroom Boerum Hill townhouse at 453 DeGraw Street asking nearly $5 million. The brokers are the Corcoran Group’s Frank Castelluccio, Maggie Ross and Nicholas Hovsepian.
The borough’s priciest listing overall continues to be a 12th-floor condo at One Brooklyn Bridge Park in Dumbo, asking $32 million.
QUEENS
Over in Queens, a five-bedroom Mediterranean-style home at 17 North Drive in Malba hit the market for $4.8 million, making it the priciest new listing in the borough in July, according to Point2 Homes data. Chase Global Realty Group’s Yanna Luo has the listing.
The second and fifth priciest listings are both three-bedroom Long Island City condos – one at the View at East Coast ($4.5 million) and another at Murano ($3 million). Modern Spaces’ Gregory Kyroglou is listing the View apartment, while Brown Harris Stevens’ Bastian Weinhold is listing the Murano pad.
A six-bedroom house at 63-21 Alderton Street in Rego Park is asking $3.7 million, as listed by Laffey Fine Homes’ Yoomesh Sharma. And a six-bedroom house at 251-20 Hand Road in Little Neck is asking $3.68 million. Toula Polios of Toula Polios Realty Group has the listing.
The priciest Queens listing on the market right now is a six-bedroom house in Bayside seeking $6.5 million.
