Hudson Companies is planning a new 250-unit residential building at 350 Clarkson Avenue in Prospect-Lefferts Gardens – on the same block where the developer’s 170-unit building at 310 Clarkson Avenue is also set to rise.
A building application filed Friday calls for 250 apartments across 200,000 square feet of residential space at the eight-story development, which will also feature 5,700 square feet of commercial space on the ground floor.
Apartments will range from studios to three-bedroom units while the project will also include a 150-car parking lot as required by city zoning code, according to New York YIMBY. CetraRuddy is designing the development, with work scheduled to begin in spring 2016 and a tentative completion date in 2018.
Hudson filed plans last year for another eight-story building on the block between Nostrand and New York avenues, at 310 Clarkson Avenue. Together, the buildings will bring 420 units to market, with construction having already begun on 310 Clarkson Avenue and set to wrap in early 2017.
The developer bought the land for 350 Clarkson Avenue earlier this year for $13.1 million, as part of a four-parcel acquisition from the not-for-profit Health Science Center at Brooklyn Foundation. [NY YIMBY] – Rey Mashayekhi
