It’s fitting that the star of “Shark Tank” would want her own island.
Real estate doyenne and TV personality Barbara Corcoran is looking to buy a private 3.5-acre island just off the coast of Connecticut for $11 million, the New York Post reported.
Tavern Island was a favored haunt of Marilyn Monroe and Barbara Streisand, according to the Post. European settlers made it home back in 1651.
Higgins Group Real Estate’s Rick Higgins has the listing. The property holds a six-bedroom, 6,116-square-foot main house, as well as a 75-foot swimming pool.
In April, Corcoran, who sold the Corcoran Group in 2001, paid $10 million for an Upper East Side pad at 1158 Fifth Avenue. [NYP] — Hiten Samtani
