Bruce Mosler’s “My Montauk” may have hit shelves several months ago, but friends and real estate players gathered last week to celebrate the Cushman & Wakefield chair of global brokerage’s photography book.
Former NYPD commissioner Ray Kelly, DDG chair and CEO Joe McMillan and former Douglas Elliman Florida CEO Vanessa Grout were among those who made it to the Manhattan home of TRD publisher Amir Korangy on August 5. Mosler was on hand to greet guests, each of whom received a signed copy of “My Montauk.” The book features photographs that he personally shot off the coast of Long Island on his 40-foot fishing yacht, “The Done Deal.”
Mosler, currently the chair of global brokerage at Cushman, said the book “represents everything that I have been passionate about in my private life.” He described a passion for fishing imbued by his father, who would take him out to Montauk as a kid. “To this day I’ll head out east, I’ll put my foot on the boat, I’ll go out on the water,” Mosler told TRD. “My entire persona relaxes and I see things in a very different light.”
All proceeds from “My Montauk” go to charity — including the Fisher House Foundation, which provides free housing to military families while a U.S. military member is receiving medical care.
