The party could be over at former glamour couple Ken Nahoum and Basia Milewicz’s Soho triplex after their building’s condo board filed to foreclose on the 8,200-square-foot penthouse at 95 Greene Street.
Celebrity shutterbug Nahoum and former Victoria’s Secret model Milewicz allegedly owe the building $100,000 in common charges and could now see the triplex, reportedly valued at $17 million, go on the auction block. The 95 Greene Street condo board first sued the pair for $40,000 in delinquent fees in 2011.
But despite winning a judgment in the lawsuit, the fees were never paid, and the charges have since ballooned with interest, according to the New York Post.
If the board succeeds in foreclosing on the triplex, the four-bedroom apartment could go for a cut-priced deal worth as little as $10 million, real estate attorney Steven Sladkus told the Post.
The penthouse has been subject to its fair share of legal and interpersonal wrangling in recent years; Nahoum has been unable to sell the apartment because Milewicz, who owns one of the three units that make up the triplex, has rejected his offers to buy her out.
The photographer subsequently sued his ex for failing to honor an agreement to sell her portion of the property – which once featured on Bravo’s “Million Dollar Listing” – within two years of their breakup.
The two previously listed the apartment for $25 million in 2011 but failed to find a buyer. They also owned a fourth penthouse in the building, which they sold for $3.2 million in 2012. [NYP] – Rey Mashayekhi
