It’s been nine short months since a $100.5 million pad at One57 smashed the city’s residential sales record, and it seems like New Yorkers are already craning their necks to the supertalls on Billionaires’ Row to see which one is next.
In anticipation of another triple-digit sale, The Real Deal looked back at five properties that set the record for the most expensive residential transaction in New York City. While the $88 million sale at 15 Central Park West may be fresh on your mind, there are handful of other properties that were considered “firsts” for New York real estate.
