Perhaps Luis Ortiz sang to him?
Salsa king Marc Anthony is trying to spice up the sale of his Long Island home by recruiting the “Million Dollar Listing New York” star to sell it.
Ortiz will re-list Anthony’s sprawling 10-bedroom compound in Brookville for $9 million, $3 million less than it was asking last year, the broker said.
Dolly Lenz was marketing the property, which Anthony shared with his ex-wife Jennifer Lopez, but failed to woo a buyer. It was recently taken off the market.
“This is one of the most private houses in Brookville,” said Ortiz, noting that the house has undergone a complete redesign since it was last on the market. “It’s completely gated. It’s also incredibly cosy, with fireplaces in every room.”
The centerpiece of the eight-acre compound, at 3 Country Lane, is a 16-room brick house with a recording studio, a matching pool house and an asphalt tennis court. Anthony bought that property for $3.7 million in 2000 and tapped Thom Filicia, of “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy,” to design the interiors.
When Anthony and Lopez tied the knot in 2004, they bought an adjacent colonial-style property for an additional $2 million.
