It may be a comparatively unimpressive price tag, but a $7 million Park Slope townhouse has a major trick up its sleeve: It can grow more than four times its size.
The home, located at 536 Fourth Street, has 10,200 square feet of buildable space, allowing for a massive expansion of the neoclassical building, according to its listing. The townhouse was the most expensive listing to hit the market in Brooklyn in Novemeber, according to Point2 Homes, falling short last month’s priciest listing, which was a $10 million Brooklyn Heights brownstone.
The top listing in Queens saw a slight edge over last month’s most expensive property. A Forest Hills Gardens mansion on Greenway South hit the market last month with an asking price of $4.3 million, nearly $1 million more than a two-story colonial in Douglaston that topped October’s list at $3.6 million.
