Pierhouse, a controversial development at Brooklyn Bridge Park, has faced some legal hurdles. But that doesn’t make the views any less spectacular. Here is a look inside.
David Von Spreckelsen of Toll Brothers City Living, the project’s developer, gave Curbed a tour of the recently unveiled, three-bedroom model unit on the fifth floor of the building.
The duplex-style apartment at 90 Furman Street is decked out with minimalist furnishings. It features 600-year-old reclaimed heartwood pine floors, walnut cabinets and marble countertops – your new-development standards in Brooklyn these days.
The development houses 106 one-to-five bedroom units, along with a 192-room hotel. Of course, residents will enjoy the hotel amenities. The developer told Curbed that 78 of the 106 units have already sold.
Prices start at $2.85 million, and the penthouse is currently listed at $10.49 million. Occupancy will begin in June 2016. [Curbed] – Christopher Cameron
