The tabloids went wild back in 2004 when 19-year-old Russian heiress Anna Anissimova paid more than half a million for a two-month rental in the Hamptons (read LLNYC’s profile of Anissimova here). And nothing has changed, with a fresh $500,000 a month rental on the market.
Hedge funder Sy Jacobs, of Jacobs Asset Management, and his wife, Felicia, have put their Myron Goldfinger-designed Hamptons mansion on the market from the beginning of August through Labor Day for $500,000, according to the New York Post.
Jacobs paid $25 million for the 4.7-acre oceanfront property on Meadow Lane in Southampton, which was featured in episodes of “Louie” and “Royal Pains.”
The 8,000-square-foot, five-bedroom house features two fireplaces, a glass-walled indoor pool, spa, sauna and steam room. Compass’ Evan Kulman has the listing. [NYP] –Christopher Cameron
