Related Companies’ planned Tribeca condominium project has a new look.
The developer launched a teaser site for 70 Vestry Street this week, along with a new rendering of the 14-story, 46-unit building. The building, which is being designed by starchitect Robert A.M. Stern, will have a French limestone facade and a shape reminiscent of Tribeca’s warehouses. Condo units in the building will range from two- to five bedrooms that span between 1,700 square feet to more than 7,000 square feet, a representative for Related told The Real Deal. Daniel Romualdez is designing the building’s interiors.
The Stephen Ross-led development company filed plans for the project in 2014, after purchasing the property for $115 million. In September, the developer secured $200 million in funding from Bank of America for the project.
Sales are expected to launch in the spring, and occupancy is slated for January 2018, representatives for Related said. Related Sales LLC and Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group are the sales and marketing agents. — Kathryn Brenzel
