The ultimate Hamptons builder is planting another flag in Manhattan.
Mega-builder Joe Farrell and his wife Kristen have shelled out $4.4 million for a second apartment at 510 Park Avenue, according to public records filed with the city Wednesday.
The property, unit 15B, was last owned by James and Marilee Greenwald, A Famously Dysfunctional Park Avenue couple whose extra-marital exploits have seen them splashed all over the tabloids.
The Farrells already own a three-bedroom apartment, unit 12B, at the white-glove co-op. They purchased that unit in 2013 for $3.56 million, records show.
The exact specifications of the second unit were not clear, since the unit was never publicly listed for sale. Neither the Greenwalds nor Farrell immediately returned calls for comment.
James Greenwald received his 15 minutes of fame last summer when he was slapped with a lawsuit from his alleged mistress, Theodora Lee Corsell, who claimed he owed her $1 million for her help in settling various personal and business disputes.
Corsell claimed she helped him track his wife’s spending and telephone calls and even steered him to a top divorce attorney. But the divorce never happened, the New York Daily News reported.
“I will see them bury you six feet under before I grant you a divorce. I’m the last Mrs. Greenwald,” Marilee Greenwald allegedly told her husband.
Greenwald’s attorney, Steven Mintz, maintained his client’s innocence at the time.
The property will likely serve as a pied-a-terre for the Farrells, who are based in the Hamptons.
Farrell is best known for developing the Sandcastle, a 26,500-square-foot Bridgehampton dream mansion once rented by Jay-Z and Beyoncé for $400,000 a month.
He’s also sold his homes to the likes of Kelly Ripa, Rudy Giuliani, and Woody Johnson.
