It’s baaack: The over-the-top Mill Basin home in Brooklyn is again up for sale for $17 million.
The decadent 22,500-square-foot domicile at 2458 National Drive looks more suited for a Miami Vice cameo than a basin near the Jamaica Bay, and has 10 bedrooms and 14 bathrooms.
But it doesn’t stop there. The compound, which is the combination of two properties, also features four kitchens, a three-boat marina, 257 feet of waterside frontage, a 1,000-square-foot pool and spa, a 40-person pavilion and 30,000 square feet of outdoor gardens.
At one time, it was the second-priciest listing in Brooklyn at $30 million, and it has been a tough sell, Curbed reported. The price was slashed to $17 million in November 2014 and it is back on the market at that price, but with an extra perk: it now includes the neighboring property, which formerly was asking $8 million.
The Corcoran Group’s Leslie Marshall and James Cornell have the listing.
The mansion was built in the late 1980s by John Rosatti, a multimillionaire with alleged mob connections. It was sold to its current owner, Russian heiress Galina Anissimova — whose daughter has been dubbed the Russian American Paris Hilton — for approximately $3 million. [Curbed] — Dusica Sue Malesevic
