The Rabsky Group is planning to launch leasing next week at its first Long Island City project – a 26-story, 284-unit rental known as Halo LIC.
The first batch of apartments – floors three through 13 – at 44-41 Purves Street will hit the rental market March 15, according to a representative for the developer.
Studio apartments will start at $1,850 per month. The one-bedroom apartments, which average 750 square feet, start at $2,950 per month. The 26th floor will have two penthouse units asking $12,000 and $15,000 per month apiece.
Amenities at the building include a communal climate-controlled wine room, fire pit lounge, library, and gym and spa.
Move-ins are slated to begin in April. David Korn’s Fiddler Realty is handling leasing.
In a departure from Rabsky’s stable of go-to architects such as ODA New York and Karl Fischer, Durukan Design handled both interior and exterior design. ODA is designing Rabsky’s other large Long Island City project, an 18-story, 195-unit rental at 42-20 27th Street known as Crescent Street.
Across the street at 44-28 Purves Street, Brause Realty and the Gotham Organization are building a 35-story rental designed by FXFOWLE.
Rabsky, a Williamsburg-based firm led by Simon Dushinsky and Isaac Rabinowitz, is among the most active developers and investors in Brooklyn, but has increasingly dabbled in Queens projects.
