When it hit the market in late 2014, a Long Island City condominium unit was the borough’s priciest listing for a particular month. Now, that condo is March’s most expensive single-family home sale.
The three-bedroom condo at Arris Lofts at 27-28 Thomson Avenue sold for $3 million last month, according to data provided by PropertyShark. The home was initially listed in September 2014 for $3.2 million, was briefly delisted and then put back on the market in 2015 for $2.9 million.
Meanwhile in Brooklyn, the top home sale was a Park Slope brownstone that sold within a few months of hitting the market, according to StreetEasy. The sale of the home — for $5 million — doesn’t come close to the borough’s record, which is a Cobble Hill townhouse that sold for $15.5 million.
