Aby Rosen scored another major tenant from the finance world at his 285 Madison Avenue.
Misys, a banking, capital markets investment management and software firm, took 23,000 square feet at the 26-story Midtown office building, with plans to move its headquarters there, the New York Post reported.
The deal comes just days after GE Capital announced its own commitment there, for 43,000 square feet on the 15th and 16th floors.
JLL’s Alexander Chudnoff and Mitch Konsker represented Rosen’s RFR Realty in the transaction. A team from CBRE represented Misys.
RFR bought the 530,000-square-foot office property in 2012, paying $190 million.
Last month, Rosen announced he was looking to sell the nearby 44-story office tower at 275 Madison Avenue, which sources told The Real Deal could go for as much as $270 million. [NYP] – Ariel Stulberg
