Arthur Zeckendorf was the co-developer behind 15 Central Park West, a building that is often cited as the most successful condo development in New York City history. At The Real Deal‘s New York Real Estate Showcase and Forum on May 12, the Zeckendorf Development co-owner sat down with TRD‘s managing web editor, Hiten Samtani, to talk about whether his upcoming skyscraper at 520 Park Avenue can live up to that reputation.
As well as his new residential tower, Zeckendorf also talked about his relationship with the architect Robert A.M. Stern and what he thinks the future holds for condo financing, saying, “the banks are at their limit with condo loans in New York City.”
