And it’s asking just $1.49 million

Following Frank Lloyd Wright’s 149th birthday, a rare home Wright designed in Minneapolis has hit the market for the first time ever. It’s even being sold by the original owners.

Wright designed the three-bedroom, 2,647-square-foot home in 1958 and it was completed in 1960, just one year after the great architect’s death. It was built for Paul Olfelt, a radiologist, according to Curbed. Today it is asking $1.49 million.

True to Wrights obsession with nature, the home is built into a hillside and comes with nearly four acres. The brick house has never been altered and features oversized windows and built-in seating, bookshelves and cabinetry.
