Big-box retailer Target is headed to Midwood, where it signed a lease for 38,000 square feet at a development site owned by Midtown-based Infinity Real Estate and Nightingale Properties.

The Minneapolis-based company inked the deal for 38,081 square feet at 1715 East 13th Street, according to property records filed with the city Thursday.

Representatives for Infinity and Nightingale could not be immediately reached for comment. The lease spans 10 years with options for two five-year extensions.

The landlords purchased the site, which is currently occupied by a 300-space parking garage, in 2014 along with a 230,000-square-foot building nearby for $79.1 million, as The Real Deal originally reported.

It was not clear what the owners’ plan was for the site, and no applications have been recorded with the Department of Buildings.

Target, which already has three locations in the borough, is planning to open a 125,000-square-foot store at CityPoint in Downtown Brooklyn.

Correction: A previous version of this post incorrectly identified the neighborhood as Sheepshead Bay. It is Midwood.
