In September, the celebrity chef and television host signed a letter of intent to build a 155,000-square-foot marketplace with 100 domestic and international vendors on the pier’s main concourse and mezzanine. In March, developer RXR Realty was reportedly in talks with PNC Bank $225 million for its redevelopment of the pier, and construction of its planned 480,000-square-foot office and retail complex.

RXR and Youngwoo & Associates signed a 97-year lease  last year with the Hudson River Park Trust to construct the complex.
