The property at 207 Anderson Avenue, which sits on three acres, went into contract this month for $7.98 million, the New York Post reported.

Diddy, who paid $6 million for the mansion in 2004, put the sprawling residence on the market in 2007 for $8.99 million. The price went up to $13.5 million in 2011, but got price-chopped several times since, most recently asking $8 million.

The home has seven bedrooms, a library, home theater, basketball court, gym, aquarium, putting green, tennis court and pool.

The Alpine mansion isn’t the only real estate that Diddy has unsuccessfully tried to sell.

His Park Imperial apartment, at 230 West 56th Street, has been on and off the market for four years, most recently asking $6.5 million. He paid $3.82 million for the 2,300-square-foot pad in 2005. [NYP] – E.B. Solomont
