For the second year in a row, the priciest new Brooklyn listing to arrive in June is a penthouse condominium unit at One Brooklyn Bridge Park.
A five-bedroom apartment, unit 1131, was listed for $23.9 million last month, making it the most expensive new single-family listing in Brooklyn, as well as the borough’s overall priciest house currently on the market, according to data provided by Point2 Homes. In June 2015, a different penthouse unit in the complex, 1216A, hit the market for $27.7 million, making it the most expensive listing that month. Its counterpart, a sprawling 11,000-square-foot penthouse, was listed for $32 million in April 2015. Both units were temporarily taken off the market in March and have not yet been re-listed, according to StreetEasy.
In Queens, a Whitestone home was the month’s most costly, with a price tag of $7 million.
