In 1730, Captain William Shelley and his brothers built their home at 100 Old Lake Street in West Harrison. Now, that historic home has hit the market asking less than most Manhattan studios.
Shelley, who fought at Merritt Hill, the site of the Battle of White Plains, during the Revolutionary War, might not recognize his home today. According to 6sqft, the home is fairly modern these days – although it has retained original structural details.
The property has one acre of land with three properties, including a 1,420-square-foot house, a barn and a one-car garage.
