Related Companies is launching sales this week at 15 Hudson Yards, the first residential building to be constructed as part of the company’s Far West Side megaproject.
Prices at the 900-foot-tall building, designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro in collaboration with Rockwell Group, start at just under $2 million and go up to $30 million for the penthouses (a blended average of $3,255 per square foot). In all, there are 285 one- to four-bedroom homes and a projected $1.7 billion sellout. Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group is leading the sales effort.
To mark the launch, The Real Deal sat down with Corcoran Group CEO Pam Liebman to talk about the project, the shifting luxury market and how developers sometimes get pricing so wrong.
