Eyal Ofer’s Global Holdings got a $330 million loan from HSBC Bank for its acquisition of the 39-story office tower at 1250 Broadway.
HSBC provided the debt to the Monaco-based mogul for his $565 million purchase of the 721,000-square-foot tower, property records filed with the city Friday show.
A representative for HSBC was not immediately available for comment.
Global Holdings bought the building from Jamestown and Murray Hill Properties at a price of just over $780 per square foot.
The partners bought the 1968 tower in 2008 for $310 million from SL Green Realty [TRDataCustom]. The building is 84 percent occupied. Its largest tenant, the Visiting Nurse Service of New York, is vacating 320,000 square feet when it relocates to SL Green’s 220 East 22nd Street.
