Though there’s been some debate over what family members should follow Donald Trump to the White House, two will surprisingly stay behind: his wife and youngest son.

Melania Trump and son Barron will continue living in the Trump Tower penthouse so that the 10-year-old can continue attending his Upper West Side private school, the New York Post reported. The First Lady will travel to the White House as needed, and may move there with Barron at the end of the school year.

City officials announced on Friday that they won’t shut down Fifth Avenue in front of Trump Tower, but they will be upping security in and around the Midtown building.

“That building is going to become the White House of New York,” Jim Reese, president of TigerSwan, a global security company, told the Post. “The Secret Service is going to have to keep that whole area cordoned off so that some wacko can’t get close and detonate a car bomb.”

Meanwhile, other members of the Trump family are mulling roles in the White House. The president-elect’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner [TRDataCustom], is exploring the legality of working for Trump.  [NYP]Kathryn Brenzel
