Capgemini America, the U.S. arm of a Paris-based consulting and technology company, is consolidating its New York City office spaces by leasing 43,000 square feet at 79 Fifth Avenue in the Flatiron District.
The company will take the entire second and third floors at A&R Kalimian Realty’s 18-story, 327,000-square-foot building, the Commercial Observer reported. The lease is for 10 years and the asking rent is $79 per square foot.
Capgemini is based out of 623 Fifth Avenue in Midtown. The building at 79 Fifth Avenue will house the company’s American headquarters as well as a design firm called Fahrenheit 212 it acquired last year.
The building at 79 Fifth Avenue is now 100 percent occupied, according to the Commercial Observer. The company will be joining tenants including the New School and Hulu. Verve Mobile took 21,500 square feet at the building in April. [CO] — Miriam Hall
