Everyone knows that NYC boasts the nation’s tallest buildings. But it’s not just quality (i.e. height) that NYC excels at, it’s quantity. Compared to the rest of the nation, NYC has more skyscrapers than the next 10 states combined.
New York has 6,229 high-rise buildings. Compare that to, say, Chicago, which has just 1,180, according to HighRises.com.
