UPDATED, Feb. 17, 2:35 p.m.: Brookland Capital is planning to build five, seven-unit Apartment Buildings On Madison Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant, according to a permit application filed with the city’s Department of Buildings Friday.
Each building would rise four stories, and span roughly 5,000 square feet. They will replace two single-family homes at 650 and 652 Madison Street, and vacant land running from 654 to 658 Madison Street. The architect of record is Arc Architecture [TRDataCustom].
The proposed buildings will feature one- and two-bedroom condominiums, said Brookland co-founder Boaz Gilad.
Brookland has been a prolific developer of boutique condominium buildings in Brooklyn, focusing on Crown Heights, Bedford-Stuyvesant and Bushwick. The firm specializes in 40-to-90-unit properties, and has raised money on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
Last year, the developer ventured into Queens for the first time with plans for a pair of five-story apartment buildings in Ridgewood.
