E-lo Sportswear, a women’s apparel company, is taking 34,000 square feet at Meyer Equities’ 469 Seventh Avenue.
E-lo, whose brands include Zac & Rachel, Sharagano and Nanette Lepore, is taking the top two floors at the 16-story property, according to the New York Post.
The company is currently housed in several spaces at Nearby 500 Seventh Avenue, but will be consolidating at its new digs at 469 Seventh, located on the south east corner of 36th Street and 7th Avenue.
The space, which E-lo is taking in a 10-year deal, was asking $55 per square foot, according to the Post.
The area, Eric Meyer told the newspaper, is “becoming less like the drudge-y old factory Garment District and, with the millennials, has the TAMI feel.” [NYP] – TRD
