Italian clothier Ermenegildo Zegna just inked a 10-year lease at SL Green Realty’s 10 East 53rd Street.

Zegna is moving its corporate offices to The Plaza District building, where it plans to take 20,132 square feet across the entire seventh floor and part of the sixth, the New York Post reported. The asking rent was $72 per square foot.

JLL’s Don Preate represented Zegna in the deal, and SL Green was represented in-housed by David Kaufman.

The move comes just as the luxury designer plans to open a new flagship store at the Crown Building at 730 Fifth Avenue. Last year, the company inked a 15-year lease for 9,000 square feet in the building, which is owned by Jeff Sutton’s Wharton Properties and General Growth Properties. The asking rent was reportedly $4,000 per square foot. [NYP]Kathryn Brenzel
