Eyal Ofer’s Global Holdings kicked off the rebranding of its $565 million building at 1250 Broadway as the new “Nomad Tower” Thursday evening with a broker event to showcase the property.
“This has been a building that’s been a sleeper for decades and decades, since I started in the 80s,” said JLL’s Paul Glickman, who is leading the leasing team for an available block of 435,000 square feet with Mitch Konsker. “People kind of think of it one way and we want to reprogram that.”
Asking rents for the large block range from $78 to $82 per square foot.
Global is considering building a private entrance for the right tenant, and is adding amenities like a 100-person amphitheater on the concourse level for tenants, a coffee bar and a lounge with arcade games.
