Lansco’s Robin Abrams will leave the firm to join Eastern Consolidated, where she will be a principal and vice chairman of retail.
Abrams, who’s been at Lansco for 38 years, will take her team of retail brokers to Eastern, the Commercial Observer reported. Her team includes Lisa Rosenthal, Herman Glaswand and Rebecca Olshan, and they will start in their news jobs after Memorial Day.
Abrams’ departure means there is just one vice chair left at Lansco, Howard Dolch. Three of the firm’s five vice chairs announced they were stepping down late last year. “We’re smaller than we were but the company is continuing. It’s not shutting down,” Dolch told CO.
Abrams will run her team, according to the publication, and will also work alongside James Famularo, who set up the Eastern Consolidated’s retail arm in 2014.
While at Lansco, Abrams’ team put Starbucks, Dylan’s Candy Bar and Lush into TurnStyle, the underground retail hub at Columbus Circle. [CO] — Miriam Hall
