Zelig Weiss plans to construct a 47-unit residential building in Bedford-Stuyvesant, according to a permit application filed with the city’s Department of Buildings on Tuesday.
The six-story building would span 33,861 square feet, and it would replace a one-story industrial building at 629-633 Marcy Avenue.
It would feature 10 apartments on floors three through six, 24 parking spaces on the ground floor, and a rooftop recreational area of 880 square feet. It’s not clear if the apartments will be rentals or condominiums.
The Brooklyn-based developer has been involved with several other projects in the borough, including the William Vale Hotel complex at 55 Wythe Avenue, in partnership with Yoel Goldman’s All Year Management [TRDataCustom].
Representatives for Weiss’s firm Riverside Developers did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the project.
