Trump’s sister sells Westhampton Beach home for $3.7M

It’s all in the family — especially when it comes to pricey real estate. Elizabeth Trump Grau, one of President Trump’s four siblings, recently sold her 4,123-square-foot oceanfront home in Westhampton Beach for $3.7 million, 27East reported. Buyer Kenneth Eckstein, a bankruptcy attorney in Manhattan, purchased the 0.7-acre spread, which contains five bedrooms, six bathrooms, and a pool. Grau sold the home with her husband, TV producer James Walter Grau. [27E]

Could an Instagram account make this village the next hot summer home market?

The residents of Bellport are certainly wary. Thanks to one social media-savvy real estate agent, the south coast village of only two square miles is at risk of becoming too popular. Howie Guja, a broker at Old Purchase Properties, has lived in the area with his family since 2006. About 27,000 Instagram followers salivate over his snaps of the area’s idyllic spots. And some have been motivated to buy: he’s sold 10 Bellport homes since he started the social media campaign. The village has been home to Anna Wintour, Isabella Rossellini, and Jackie Kennedy. [TRD]

Historic Frank Cartwright house in contract already

Looks like a little bit of history goes a long way. Less than a month after hitting the market, the Frank Cartwright house in East Hampton is in contract to sell, Curbed reported. The 1.5-acre property, listed for $4.95 million, features three dwellings. The main home and a converted guest house — which originally functioned as an icehouse — were built in 1885. Those Queen Anne-style structures and an additional guest house constructed in 1908 add up to 5,050 square feet, with eight bedrooms and eight-and-a-half bathrooms on the property. Frank Cartwright was a famous mason and is buried in the nearby South End Cemetery. [Curbed]

Music producer’s home price gets slashed by $2.5M

Sing a sad tune for this Sagaponack spread: Finding no takers for his estate since it was listed for $16 million in March, L.A. Reid recently cut the price to $13.5 million.  The 6,870-square-foot residence, built in 2004, houses eight bedrooms and nine-and-a-half bathrooms. Gary DePersia of the Corcoran Group has the listing. [Curbed]

Hamptons’ celebrity architect arrested for child porn — again

Jay Lockett Sears, who has designed homes for the likes of Michael J. Fox and Susan Lucci, was arrested once again for allegedly creating pornographic images of children, the New York Post reported. The East Quogue-based architect was arrested Thursday when his probation officer visited his house and found photos of young girls’ faces pasted onto images of nude adult bodies. Sears used photos from a local children’s newspaper in addition to pictures of children that he’d secretly taken at elite yacht and beach clubs. Sears was already charged for possessing child pornography in June 2014. He was sentenced to six months of house arrest and five years of supervised release. [NYP]
