Harry Krakowski, president of the Skyline Hotel, sold his Upper West Side townhouse for $11.8 million, according to public records.
Built circa 1900 and designed by architect Theodore E. Thomson, the six-story building (plus cellar) boasts five-bedrooms, nice-bathrooms and $9,400 square feet. There is also an elevator, a penthouse gym, five outdoor terraces, a landscaped garden, and an 1,800 square-foot recreation space in the cellar.
It’s also camera ready. That is to say you might recognize the building from a recent film.
According to emails released during the Sony hack, Krakowski lent his home to the movie “Unforgettable,” which was released this year. The erotic thriller starring Katherine Heigl and Rosario Dawson was described by the Onion’s Av Club as occupying the “sweet spot between Fatal Attraction and the Lifetime Movie Network.”
