The 3,319-square foot apartment last sold in 2011 for just under $11.5 million, Curbed reported. The $12.9 million asking price is just under the $12.95 million the condominium was asking in 2011, according to StreetEasy.

The unit features four bedrooms and four bathrooms, and almost 2,000 square feet of landscaped terraces, including a roof garden with a jacuzzi and views of the Hudson River, according to the website. The living room has a 20-foot pivoting wall that can open completely to create one indoor/outdoor space.

Designed by Japanese starchitect Shigeru Ban, the Metal Shutter Houses are on the south side of West 19th Street, between 10th and 11th avenues. Ban, who also designed the interiors at the Cast Iron House, at 67 Franklin Street, won the Pritzker Prize in 2014. [Curbed]Miriam Hall
