Audrey Gruss, the philanthropist and founder and chairman of the Hope for Depression Research Foundation, debuted her new fragrance at a garden party this weekend at her Southampton home, Fairwind.
All of the profits from the fragrance — called Hope — will go on to benefit the foundation, which raises money for research on depression. Hope is made using all-white flowers, and in keeping with that theme, all of the guests wore white and all of the decor was white as well. This meant tea sandwiches served on tables covered with white-linen tablecloths, white desserts, white tea and of course white flowers.
Guests of the event included Kathy Hilton, Donna Acquavella, Sharon Bush and Luce Churchill. Hope perfume will go on sale at Sak’s in September.
