Bikram Yoga guru lists former Kushner UES pad for $4M
Donna Matlin Rubin, the co-founder of Bikram Yoga in New York, has just listed an Upper East Side apartment at 123 East 75th Street for $3.8 million, per city records.
Rubin’s not the only notable person to have lived in the unit; Nicole Kushner Meyer and her husband Joseph Meyer also lived there until they sold it to Rubin and her husband, Elliot Matlin, in 2013 for just under $3.4 million.
Nicole, of course, is the younger sister of Jared Kushner, President Trump’s son-in-law and senior advisor. She made headlines earlier this year when she gave a speech on behalf of her family’s firm, Kushner Companies, to EB-5 investors in China and noted that their investment would mean “a lot to me and my entire family.” Kushner Companies has since been subpoenaed over their use of EB-5.
According to the listing, with Terri Stone of Douglas Elliman, the unit has four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms, two terraces and a library.
Stone did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Rubin is a former professional dancer, who brought the first Bikram Yoga studio to New York in 1999 along with co-owner Jennifer Lobo.
