A Compass broker is accused of intentionally deceiving a pair of buyers for her $1.9 million condo in Williamsburg, allegedly creating fake renderings, lying about upcoming construction and failing to disclose her ownership to quickly seal a deal, a new lawsuit claims.

Kristin Thomas-Senior, who’s been with Compass since 2015, advertised her 1,460-square-foot apartment at Schaefer Landing North, describing a “sublime panorama” with “sights that stretch from the very base of Manhattan’s South Street Seaport up through the iconic Midtown Skyline with Empire State Building,” according to the lawsuit filed by buyers Lawrence and Angela Mann.

The Manns said Thomas-Senior told them nearby construction would affect views of the Manhattan skyline from only the bedroom, so the Manns signed agreeing to a slightly compromised view, according to the New York Post. But a few weeks later, the views disappeared completely leading the Manns to file a $15 million lawsuit alleging Thomas-Senior had created renderings meant to “intentionally deceive” them about the impact of the construction and failed to disclose herself as the owner.

Thomas-Senior was on the board of managers at her former condo’s building so the Manns say there is no way she did not know the impact the construction — which appears to be from Spitzer Enterprises’s project at 420 Kent Avenue — would have on her views. They also say she pressured them to sign quickly claiming selling the condo deal was “highly time sensitive.”
