Manhattan D.A. Cyrus Vance Jr. just sold his Upper West Side apartment for $2.4 million, and plans to move Downtown.

The prosecutor, who’s in his seventh year of pursuing real estate and other assorted miscreants as D.A., sold his co-op at 885 West End Avenue for a tidy profit. Property records show he paid $1.575 million for the apartment in 2005.

The fifth-floor unit, which has three bedrooms plus a library, has an updated kitchen but retained prewar details like the apartment’s original hardwood flooring and molding. The building is located between West 103rd and 104th streets, public records show.

Records show the Vances now live in A Rental Apartment On Murray Street. Their 15th-floor pad was on the market this summer for $5,375 a month, according to StreetEasy.

“Mr. Vance is excited to move Downtown in closer proximity to his office” at One Hogan Place, said Brown Harris Stevens’ Matthew Hughes, who had the listing.
