The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers is moving down Broadway to Empire State Realty Trust’s 250 West 57th Street.
ASCAP, which is currently located at 1900 Broadway, plans to take 85,400 square feet and four floors in the 26-story office building, the New York Post reported. The organization will occupy the 12th floor, parts of the 13th and 14th floors and the entire 20th floor.
Asking rent for the 12th, 13th and 14th floors was $67 per square foot. For the 20th floor, asking rent was $74 per square foot. CBRE’s Mary Ann Tighe, Robert Hill, Brendan Herlihy and Ken Meyerson represented ASCAP in the deal.
The building’s lobby has a new facade and lobby. Other new tenants include Mount Sinai Health System, which inked a lease in February for the building’s 15th floor. Property Management firm AJ Clarke will soon move into the building’s seventh floor. [NYP] — Kathryn Brenzel
