According to Twitter, house hacking is a thing in Silicon Valley. Though it sounds tech savvy, and probably complicated, the strategy exemplifies an age-old approach you may even be doing without knowing what it’s now called.

House hacking essentially means buying a house and renting out up to three rooms and then using your roommates’ rent to pay your housing expenses. It may seem like a risky start-up idea, but, rest assured, its been done for centuries despite its trendy new Silicon Valley name.
